New Things That I have Found

So I have realized that I am not keeping so up to date on this blog but hopefully that will change I am trying.  But boy have I been busy this past month. I have been cleaning, packing, sorting lifting and moving heavy boxes (especially up three flights of stairs) mainly in aide of my family. Well it needed to be done and there is still soo very much left to do including a very thorough cleaning, painting and more organizing. As I was packing up the items that I have in my very little tiny room I realized how much stuff I really have in there. I called myself living with very little things in my room, but packing it up and putting it into boxes made realize there was more stuff in there that I actually do not want in my room.Oddly enough it is much roomer now without it. Also all this packing has reaffirmed my stance on simplistic living. I do not want anything in my house that does not have a good reason or purpose for being there. Decoration for decor sake do not belong in my living space for it is an absolute pain to have to pack unnecessary stuff.

Unfortunately all this cleaning and stuff has put my reading and side projects further off to the side. There are a lot of books that I would like to read but I really don't have the time for it right now. Due to my simplistic life-style ( and not wanting a whole bunch of books that I have only read once) I am contemplating buying an e-reader/tablet but have not decided which is right for me. I am torn between a Nook color,  ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, or the Nook touch. I guess I am contemplating what are the things that I most want in my tablet: a good calender, book and magazine reader, easily portable, to  music player is- a plus, web browser- a plus, app store- a plus, being able to get my work done like a computer- major plus. It would seem that I am leaning more toward the ASUS but the price tag of the Nook color is so very tempting.  Plus there are supposed to be more tablet coming out.Well it will have to wait either way until this house is clean, packed and organized. Oey   back to work.

 Keep Sailing.

The Images In The Night

There are several symbols in The Night Circus . The few that that are going to be talked about are: tarot cards, Le Cirque de Rêves , and identification.   Tarot Cards are a symbol of the unknown that comes to light along with the truth that has been hidden. The cards have been able to reveal the true identity of Marco and Marco’s and Cecilia’s feeling for each other before they even admitted it to themselves. The cards have also hinted to the path that Bailey will take in the final battle as the knight.  At the same time the cards can be interpreted in many different ways. It corresponds to how the future is not always clear and certain. Isobel always had a difficult time finding a clear meaning in the cards that she read for Cecilia, Marco and Bailey. It was not until they were closer to the end of the competition that the meaning behind the card became clear. The same can be said with the reading of the stars that Poppy did. So...

The Spew Monster vs The Magicians

A Monster Calls is a book about how a boy named Conor deals with his mother dying from cancer. A spew monster comes to visit him in the night at 12:07 to tell him three stories from the past. The first story was of a prince who wanted to save his kingdom from a witch. The story illuminates how people can be both good and bad at the same time. The second story was about an apothecary and a parson. The apothecary wanted to use the yew tree for medicinal purposes but the parson refused to give it to him. At the end of the story Conor realized that not everything in life is fair.  By the third story of the invisible man, Conor becomes a retelling of the story as he gets ignored by others. After the experience it seems like life can sometimes feel similar to a cheat. After the third story, Conor has to tell his own story and truth about the monster that haunts his dreams.     ...
